The device has a choice of 3 time delay settings (15, 30 or 45 minutes) and are the amounts of time the device will allow the air conditioning to run whilst no movement has been detected in the room. At the end of the time delay if no movement has been detected then it will send the "Off" signal to your air conditioner.
Battery operated, it can be installed with relative ease and even has a night mode to ensure a comfortable nights sleep.
Compatible with most makes of air-conditioning (see below) and a brilliant way of saving you money if you forget to turn your air-con off before leaving home and even better for stopping tennants from leaving it on all day while they are at the beach!

Compatibility test.
In order to test compatibility with your own equipment you need to determine if your remote control sends a different signal to turn the A.C. ON to the signal that turns the A.C. OFF.
Some units send the same signal to do both, i.e. a "do the reverse of what you are doing now" signal!
To test compatibility do the following:
1)
Switch the A.C. unit ON with your remote controller. This has sent an ON signal.
2)
Take the remote controller out of the room and press the "ON/OFF' button. This has sent an OFF signal but the A.C. unit will not have received it because you were out of the room.
3) Re-enter the room and press the "ON/OFF" button (this has sent an ON signal) if the A/C unit bleeps but nothing happens and your unit continues to stay ON your unit is compatible.
If the A.C. unit DID NOT TURN OFF on number 3 press the "ON/OFF" button again and your A.C. unit should turn off. This confirms the compatibility.
If the A.C. unit DID TURN OFF on number 3 then your remote is sending the same signal for ON and OFF and is therefore not compatible.
Recommendations.
We recommend the batteries are changed every six months and if the air conditioning is not in use for prolonged periods of time, that the batteries are removed from the unit.
